I have chosen Dartmouth over ....

Now that the results are in, let's compile a list of the schools that you are passing up to go to Dartmouth. I recognize that many are still making up their mind. Also, let's see what schools people would have gone to, over Dartmouth, had they gotten in to them.

Below are the results of the survey for the class of '12.

Well, the final decision won’t be made until after Dimensions, but I strongly suspect that my daughter will choose Dartmouth over:

Rice, UC Berkeley, UCLA, UC Irvine, and UC Davis.

Plus she is waitlisted at Columbia but will not pursue that, since she would still choose Dartmouth over Columbia if accepted at both.

If she had been accepted she probably would have chosen over Dartmouth:

Harvard, MIT, and Stanford. Maybe Yale too. Not sure where Yale fits on her list.

I’m going to Dartmouth over Penn and BC honors program. If I had gotten into Harvard I may have chosen that instead, not sure tho

Great choice, spunaugle!
That “Dartmouth Yale Enthusiasts” video is Dartmouth at its best.

Haha I saw that video earlier this year. I must say I laughed for quite some time and shared it with all my friends… ahh great stuff. Maybe I should start the club anew? ;)

Don’t worry, you can fill out transfer applications every year until you die. It’s never too late to go to Yale University:

I mean, just look at the facts:
Yale is the oldest university… in the world.
Yale was founded… by god.
Yale is mostly constructed out of gold.

But what about those people who were happy that they were accepted to Dartmouth? We call them Acceptos. And I’m like… see you at Denny’s… ACCEPTO!

…My favorite Jacko video by far!

I picked it over NU, UC, Duke, and Amherst. My decision ended up being between duke, amherst, dartmouth. then finally between duke and dartmouth. very tough indeed.

You are probably the tenth person I’ve met who’s been deciding over Duke and Dartmouth! Most have gone green, however =D
