I have crippling anxiety about getting into UF

Hello fine folks of College Confidential, could you please tell me what you think my chances of getting into UF are. I am very, very stressed about whether I’m going to get into UF or not, as it is my first choice. Thank you!

Sex - F
Race - white
In state - yes
GPA - 4.47 (weighted) 3.76 (unweighted)
Class Rank - 17 of 365
SAT - 1400 superscored (720 reading, 680 math) (I may take it again but that would be four times so I don’t know)

AP Classes - Human Geography (3), World History (4), Psychology (4), English Lit (5)
IB Classes - Biology HL, English Lit HL, History of the Americas HL, Math SL, Spanish B SL, Geography SL (5)

ECs - Swim Team (four years of varsity, captain), Literature Club (two years, founder, president), NHS (three years), Executive Board (four years), A Team (two years), Cyberpatriot (one year)

Volunteering - Nearly 300 hours split between two local elementary schools

Awards - AP scholar with Honor, Local scholarship award (four years)

I never know how to judge to people’s chances, so I never do - but, your stats look like a good match for UF to me!

You can count on attending UF. Really.

I agree with the others. Great test scores and strong ECs. Is the 4.47 recalculated for UF/SUS? If so, you are rock solid for Fall and near the top of the middle 25% range for summer. Holistic admissions being what it is, no one is a mortal lock, but I like your chances.

Thank you guys so much for replying! I feel a little more at ease now.

@GatorDad305 my UF recalculated is around a 4.55, because only one of my credits is a Non-AP or Non-IB elective

I like your chances.

Current UF student here, I had a similar application with the addition of having to explain an out of school suspension. If I can get in, your chances are certainly very high. As long as you wrote solid essays that portrayed your passion for the things you love doing, I have high confidence you will gain admission. Just relax, you will get into where you belong! I was in the same spot as you a year ago and I regret worrying as much as I did. Have confidence in yourself and keep up the great work regardless of admission results! Go Gators and good luck!

I was accepted with honors! Thank you to everyone who commented on my post

Hey, that’s great, @gvl123! Congratulations!
