I have done more research and I have some more general Cornell questions

First of all, I think that I would want to major in ORIE

but I feel like I'd want to double major

What are the most common/best dual majors for ORIE

I am thinking I would like either ORIE/Math or ORIE/Comp. Sci.?

Also, how does Cornell ORIE compare to Columbia IEOR?

I have heard that Columbia is slightly better, especially for someone looking to work on Wall Street?

How true is this? I think that they are close enough to the point where I would pick Cornell for other reasons? But, can anyone provide moer insight on the WS recruiting from Cornell compared to others?

Any help is appreciated! Thanks!

you wont be able to double major orie and math, they are in different colleges

you can do or/cs, which might actually be a good combo

The or/cs is something I will think about then thanks

Do you think that would be too difficult overall?

Also, why would you consider that a good combo because I am just wondering if its the same reasons I do? Haha

Many of the OR and CS classes overlap, and the jobs that you can get into overlap as well. Definitely, they are complementary majors.

No difference for students of similar caliber.
