I have just posted an updated review for Rochester Institute of Technology in the Arts forum and RIT alphabetical forum under the thread, "Update Review of Rochester Institute of Technology."

Admitedly, I reviewed the school as a parent of a prospective art and design student. However,if you have any engineering, science or art and design kids, you may wish to read this review. I think you will find it useful.

Thanks Taxguy. By the way, I just noticed that RIT is on the NACAC list of schools that didn't fill their freshman class for next year. Which may mean they will be a little more flexible in admissions next year or possibly be a little more generous with merit money to attract students.

Carolyn, Now that is interesting. It may, however, depend on the major, although they have a limited number available vs. others. For art, design, film and some other majors, they usually have a waiting list.

Carolyn, how did you even know about the NACAC site and find it?

NACAC has been producing a list for some time now - I know this is the third year I've looked at it. It has been discussed on these boards several times.

I think I found NACAC when I was googling "college admissions counselors". Additional note: if you are interested in a private counselor, this site lists member counselors.
