I have no chance right?

Okay so I wrote an essay about my hardships. I think it is pretty good. Would anyone like to read it for me?

GWU be a match
add some safeties

Schools: Washington University in St. Louis, Johns Hopkins, Emory, George Washington, Case Western.

Based on my results on parchment…

I have you at a 9% chance at Johns Hopkins.
A 32% chance at Washington University in St Louis.
A 19% chance at Emory.
A 48% chance at George Washington.
A 92% chance at Case Western Reserve.

So all but Case Western are reaches. If I were you, I’d try to court George Washington.

please will someone read my hardship essay? Please!!!

Message me it and I’ll read it. I agree your GPA is low, but if it comes across in your essay with an explanation (not a complaint), you do have a shot. Chance me back?

i think you have a chance but go for it and apply. i mean it does waste how much ever money it is but take the chance though. I mean, you might actually get in

hmm i think you have some chance at any of those schools.

since you’re black, the hard home-life story is might be more effective than normal at compensating for a low gpa. the gpa is really low though, so they might not make any exceptions. and your SAT II’s are amazing. it’s too bad you didn’t get to take the SAT :/.
