the acceptances arnt amazing because i applied very conservatively. im a pretty decent student and am considering

politics/history
philosophy
something sciencey
business
film
history

id like an environment where i can explore each option throughly and have access to good jobs and internships. im putting higher weight on rutgers and umd because of financial aid but my ap english teacher insisted i try for gwu. my family wants me to do rutgers cause its close by. the choices are killing me. also even if by some miracle i get into gwu or decide on maryland i have to appeal to the family to let me got there. please help!

Topcat, congrats you have a nice group of acceptances and you can’t really go wrong with any of them. American seems a little different than your other three though. I know it is very good for politics and film, but your other schools may offer you more options if you decide to switch majors. They basically are all in the same league and all will offer you very good opportunities. Have you been able to visit any of them? If D1 sports is important to you pick either Rutgers or Maryland. Best of luck!

I would pick U. Maryland.

I would go with American seeing as your intended majors coincide with what they offer. Also internships wouldn’t be hard to come by given the location.
But if you choose to go with “something sciency” then I don’t think American would be the best fir, maybe U of M?
But a majority of the areas you’re interested in
seems to fit well with American.

i would pick umaryland
