<p>I'm doing the personal essay for the common app, and I have no idea how to format it. Should there be a title, double-spacing, no tabbing, a heading, what? I really don't have a clue.</p>

<p>Normal formatting, nothing fancy. There is no need for a title or a heading, if you are not writing an imagery poem.</p>
<p>I remember there being a simple text box.. similar to the one I'm writing in right now, so double-spacing and titles would just be obnoxious. Indentation would help, but apart from that, it should be a single-spaced, grammatically correct essay.`</p>
