I have no idea what im supposed to do wit this topic

For Colgate, it asks how i found/learned about it and asks for it in 500 characters(not words). I answered its not specific at all because of the character limit. Is this okay or do they look for something that tells about my personality and that i did research? If they do, i have no idea how im supposed to do this with such limited space.

help=/

Does that include spaces or no? I agree, 500 characters either way is very short.
Be concise… a creative kind of concise. A lot of good essays are short, but greatly written.

500 characters.

i like eggs.

this would be 12 chars lol…

i just find it impossible lol. it obvioulst isnt but i just dont know how i can creatively write how i discovered it while showing them its the school i want to go to and i did my research on them

i recommend you to read a yale essay, 500 words but the auther shows a lot…lol 500 characters is shorter, but if you have a good idea, it is possible to have an outstanding essay. good luck

thank you but two more questions.

for this 500 character “essay” do they look for specifics about the student body,school,faculty,etc. or do just just want a general how i found it(which is the question)? for example, would thye like a i found it on the web(of course not stating directly)

for essays like the commonapp essay and supplements, is it better to double or single space

i finished. can someone read this 500 char thing and check for grammer and see if its even worth sending. i think i did a pretty bad job…idk if i answered the question and if my answer is something a school would accept…

anyone???
