I have no idea where or how to start with financial aid. Help?

<p>As the title says, I don't really know where to start with financial aid stuff. Anyone want to give me "101" on financial aid? I'm particularly concerned with this since I'm gonna be applying to colleges pretty soon. Any help, advice, etc would be nice. Thanks!</p>
