<p>It vaires. I believe most of the schools in the US uses 4 = A+/A/A-, but some schools do count pluses and minuses (some schools have x/100 scale)</p>
<p>In general, public schools don't use +/-. The schools that use them have their own scale to determine what they mean.</p>
