I have one year to prepare for the SAT. What should I do?

I have only a year to prepare for the SAT. I'm not a native speaker and have little exposure to English in my daily time, scoring 96 on the TOEFL iBT. Where should I begin? What materials should I read? Please help.Thank you.

First thing you should purchase the The Official SAT Study Guide by the College Board.
This book contains test most similar to the actual exam so use this for practice material.
Than for a review on Math use Grubers math.
For the Writing section look at the Writing portion of Silverturtles guide. I believe it has everything one needs to score a perfect score on the Writing exam. –> http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/sat-preparation/955109-silverturtles-guide-sat-admissions-success.html</a>
If your vocabulary is lacking than I would advise you to purchase Direct Hits Volumes 1&2

Overall what will improve your score is taking practice tests and reviewing all the questions in an effective manner. Review all the questions whether you get them right or wrong.

I have recently purchased them all. 1. The SAT official guide, or the Blue book, 2. Direct Hits volume 1&2, 3. Grubers. However, It’s really confusing to me whether should I jump to them right away or should I get involved in other materials such as books, novels, magazine. I’m looking for a one-year study strategy.

I think this is an excellent question. I’d love to hear people’'s suggestions myself. Thanks in advance…
