I have one year to prepare for the SAT. What should I do?

First thing you should purchase the The Official SAT Study Guide by the College Board.
This book contains test most similar to the actual exam so use this for practice material.
Than for a review on Math use Grubers math.
For the Writing section look at the Writing portion of Silverturtles guide. I believe it has everything one needs to score a perfect score on the Writing exam. –> http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/sat-preparation/955109-silverturtles-guide-sat-admissions-success.html</a>
If your vocabulary is lacking than I would advise you to purchase Direct Hits Volumes 1&2

Overall what will improve your score is taking practice tests and reviewing all the questions in an effective manner. Review all the questions whether you get them right or wrong.
