When is the latest SAT testing date that Yale can recieve the scores for early action? please say November????/
Also, if I did bad on my sat's lets say 1830 on the SAT and I got a 33 on the ACT....they will look at the ACT and not the SAT right..especialyl since I never sent my SAT scores.

They will look at your ACT and not your SAT.

Don't send you SAT...ever! But yes they will only look at your ACT. Just a side note you shouldn't even consider taking the SAT II with your high ACT score.

you don't have to send SAT 2 if you took the ACT?

You have to have the writing portion of the ACT though.

yes i think you still have to take the SAT II even if you took ACT with writing. look on the college websites and they'll specify how many they want you to take. usually it's around 2-3 and you have to take math and/or science subject depending on your major. congrats on that act score btw!!

From the Yale Admissions website -
"For the coming admissions cycle, Yale will require only two SAT II Subject Tests in addition to the SAT I. Please note that this is a change from the previously required three Subject Tests. If you have chosen to take the ACT with the optional writing section, you are not required to submit any SAT scores."

It's nice that Yale has lowered the number of Subject tests to two, but if other universities don't follow suit, it's not a big help - kids still have to have three for their other applications.
