My transcript is a bit bumpy. Orgo 1 I got a B- however in orgo 2 and biochem I got an A- and A respectively.
Hopefully I can pull of an A in genetics as well. Though I have some less glorious grades, do med schools recognize the improvement? Do they judge me favorably?

I’m a 4th year MD/PhD student who got a C in orgo 1.

That’s amazing. Can u tell me more about what you did to improve?

Also I didn’t do too hot in general bio.

So long as your sGPA isn’t low enough to get you screened out I wouldn’t worry.

An upward trend > downward trend.

I started actually studying orgo on a consistent basis rather than just the week before the exam and I got a tutor. Got a B in orgo 2, probably had nearly an A but then I failed the final.

In full disclosure, brown orgo is absurdly hard to the point where despite those grades I thought the orgo on the MCAT was child’s play

What did you get on the MCAT? If you don’t mind saying of course.

36
(11VR, 12PS, 13BS)

I see.
