I have to send my scores to some Ivy leagues. I got a 33 composite with a 22 Writing. Then I got a 30 composite with a 29 writing. What should I do?
I honestly don’t want to send both scores to all of the schools that I’m applying to as that quickly gets expensive.
Some schools have allowed me to send my scores through my guidance counselor since I am a Questbridge finalist, but should I send both scores to other schools like Harvard, or just 1 score?
October ACT: 30 Comp. 30, 28, 34, 29 (29 writing)
December ACT: 33 Comp. 35, 32, 34, 32 (22 writing)
What do you guys think I should do?
Be aware of some schools’ testing policies - they may require you to send ALL of your test scores.
Still, your 33 score is without a doubt the better score. Writing scores have been really odd on the re-designed ACT, so I don’t think it will be a big deal.
If you don’t have to send all scores to colleges, I would just send the 33 ACT. Colleges typically care more about the composite score rather than the writing test score.
