I'm just another freshman who was given the September 3rd registration period. When I logged in, I found out that ALL four of my classes are wait listed!!

But I have a question. How do I wait list a class? I've looked on the How to Wait list page and it tells me Webreg will give me the option of waitlisting, but I'm not seeing it.

I'm an ERC freshman who needs to take:
MMW1
Math10A
Chem6A
FineArts (Public Speaking)

Can anyone give me help as to how I can wait list? Does a pop up come about giving the option? I don't know if I'm missing something or it's my computer.

I’m in the same position as you and right now i’m not sure if i even wait list all four of my classes without the system thinking i’m trying to withdraw from the school (oh how tedious lol).

To wait-list for a class you just pick the number code next to the discussion time you want and then after you click the number it show a list of all the “available” discussion times and then at the bottom it will ask if you wish to wait-list the desired section you just picked~

I feel for you. I got the September 3rd enrollment time and I had to waitlist for two of my classes (the one that’s making me mad is Doc the Marshall GE… every single discussion is full.).

To wait list: Go to web reg –> Click the section as if you were going to add the course –> choose the wait list option.

I have another question if anyone’s still there. Do you just keep coming back to the webreg every day to see if the waitlisted classes have room? How are we supposed to begin buying our books if we don’t even know for sure if we actually have four classes!?

I was able to get into 2/4 of my classes due to constant vigilance, but I have another questions. How does only officially enrolling into 2 classes affect your financial aid? I just got my ebill and am looking at a huge amount of money due to registration and dorm fees. I have the Cal grant and several other sources of aid, but how do they apply to paying off my ebill?

Do I have to be enrolled in all 4 so my aid actually applies?

Do I have to pay all my fees now before the 17th and the aid will apply later with me being reimbursed the difference?

From classes to money… college is already stressing!
