I recently received my ACT scores back from February and try are as follows:
Composite- 33
English- 36
Reading- 33
Math- 25
Science- 36
What will schools think when they see this? I have taken the test two other times and this is the lowest math score, but my highest composite. I have scored a 28 on math on the others, and along with a 34 in reading on another, that would bring my superscore to a 34 but I guess my real question is, is that a red flag to colleges, and if I am not planning to do anything with math in college, is it that much of a problem?
I had a similar situation, just instead of math, my reading was low. I decided to retake it one more time October senior year, and got my reading score up to a 30 (still doing very well on the other sections), and it looked much better to me.
Colleges (from what I’ve heard) look at the composite score rather than the breakdown like the SAT. As the above poster said also, it doesn’t matter unless you’re planning to major in something math related.
