Well the cal states don’t take into effect your extracurriculars, since they only look at stats and academics. I would say you have a good chance (maybe 50/50?), but it really depends on what major you applied to, because either your odds can go up or down.

It depends on your major… if you’re architecture then 3.6 is a tough call, but you should have a good shot for other majors

Why even bother asking if you don’t tell us what major you applied for?

I applied as a business major.thanks for the responses!

and my status is still “application received”

Bump to the top ^.^

my best guess would be is that you would get in. but i could always be wrong…good luck

Do people just assume that whoever looks at your application is going to know about your club memberships and all the volunteer hours you’ve done? I see it everywhere and it blows my mind. Was there even a spot for you to put that on your application?! I’ve accumulated over 100 hours volunteering in a zoo and I’ve applied to the animal health science program. It would be awesome if the agriculture department knew that but they don’t. It’s all about GPA, classes/prerequisites if you’re a transfer, and SAT/ACT/AP & honors classes if you’re a freshman.

CSU’s don’t look at ECs. If you’re able to do supplemental applications then maybe you can put that in but im not 100% sure.

… i still havent heard neither
CSU gpa 3.72
SAT 1280/1600 aerospace major
