<p>I was planning on applying to Vanderbilt, but I'm applying to the school of science and my AP Bio teacher (and Honors Physics..so she knows me) is out on maternity leave so I'm waiting for her to do one of the recommendations. Also, the counseling dept. here sucks and it takes the counselors months to do recommendations (not kidding...they've had my UGA rec for a month and a half now). So, since it is so late in the year, so I still have a chance? Here are my stats:</p>

<p>I am a Georgia student--first in my family to go to college. Also a white female so my ethnic background...uhh..doesn't really help. I might take a college visit soon--I'm undecided.</p>

<p>I've also had 5 honors classes and all of my classes are academic. I haven't had an elective since the ninth grade. My school currently offers 10 AP classes and 5 honors classes. </p>
