I havent heard from them yet-- what does it mean

I am an international student from India and have applied for the business school. I havent heard from them yet. Does this mean i am not in???

Dats okay .. ive been rejected..

Sorry to hear that Radhika. Whee have you been accepted? I bet some good schools.

sorry to hear :(

Sorry to hear that radhika.

I still haven't heard either, out of state.

me neither Cruiser, and I'm out of state as well.

The thing is I'm in a weird situation. They were having problems with my app, so it only got cleared about a week ago. But since it was just a big mess and not anybody's fault, they're looking at it and treating it as if it was completed by the deadline (which it was). I'm still checking the site every 20 minutes though.

Well, good luck muffin, maybe I'll see you around next year

Yeah, I'm also out-of-state and haven't heard yet either.

what school are the two of you applying to?

I'm applying to Liberal Arts, best chance for admission. I'll worry about transferring later, my top priority is going to UT

McCombs, but Liberal Arts is my second choice

I also did McCombs first choice/Liberal Arts second. I regret doing that though, I used to want McCombs (even though I knew I wouldn't get in) but now I would actually prefer Liberal Arts. If I get into Liberal Arts, there is like a 99.9999999% chance that I will be at UT next year.

100% for me :)

How are you international/out-of-state kids planning on payin for school? Are you hoping for grants and scholarships?

I applied as an out-of-state transfer. I'm likely going to be relying on loans unless by change I get any kinds of merit awards. I won't qualify for financial aid for quite some time.

Applied to Chem Engineering program. Also still waiting to hear sigh.

-A

UT is one of the cheapest schools on my list, so that is kinda nice. I missed the scholarship deadline, and I won't get much in the way of grants due to my family's income. Whatever savings we have right now should cover UT's cost.

UT is also my #1 school. If I get into McCombs, 100% chance of me going, Liberal Arts-99% chance.

we're all partying it up together the first day if we get in

although I doubt my chances

hookemhorns:

Fortunately, I've been blessed with having enough money to not really have to sweat over scholarships/aid. Of course they'd be nice, but I can attend regardless of what I get.

Well, I've heard now and the news wasn't good. I hope I really, really like my visit to Arizona next week because if I don't get into UNC (and trust me, I won't get into UNC) that's where I'll be going. Or I can just say "**** it" and go to the University of Hawaii, which might not be a bad idea. Good luck to the rest of you, hopefully you won't get the same decision I did.

so wait, did you get rejected from UT? I'm confused

I just got rejected from UT too, god dammit
