When I went online and logged into my OPUS Emory account, I saw that there was a link to payment of admission deposit. I clicked on it and it had my name on the top, with a form to pay something hundred dollars.

Though I haven't received my result in the mail yet (I live in Alaska), is this a sign that I got in? I also received a letter a few days ago that asked me to sent items so they could "finalize my financial award."

I'm really anxious, my application to Emory has recently grown in importance. Are these sure signs that I got in, or is this available to all applicants, rejected and accepted?

The admissions deposit did not pop up on OPUS until last Monday - after they sent out the letters. I would say it was a good sign! Have you tried signing into learnlink?

i do not have the ability to pay. i have only this:

Student Links
Campus Event Registration
Emory College April Open House Hosting Events

and thats it... and when i click Campus Event Registration it says nothing is available.... i have yet to hear back but i was told i wasn't on the directory...

I don't think being in the directory means anything. We know a student that was accepted through Emory Scholars and she does not show up in the Directory, she has a very distinctive name so there is no question it's not in there. I think you show up in the directory after you load the CD.

I don't like being the bringer of bad news, BUT, I'm about 98% sure that if you don't have the pay admission deposit link under "student links", it either means you've been wait listed or that you didn't get in. I know this because my friend didn't have that link and she was waitlisted, and I do have it, and I'm in.

Sorry!!! I mean, I could definitely be wrong...

Guess the presence of the admissions deposit link on OPUS is a sure tell-tale way of knowing whether u got in or not... but don't dismay, I could be wrong
