what the hell?

check the library.

Dude must be getting girls left and right. What a stud.

check behind the cafeteria. There should be a large slightly red blunt object nearby

In this case, you should immediately report this fact to your RA. The RAs are trained to follow up with something like this. If for some reason you don't have an RA, I'm sure there is a Housing Director or other individuals in charge who can help. Think of it this way....if something had happened to you, wouldn't you want YOUR roommate to report it?

Probably, everything is fine. Your roommate may have decided to spend his/her days and nights elsewhere. However, just in case everything is NOT fine, you will know you did the right thing. And you deserve the right not to worry if something has happened you should know about. (ie, roommate was hospitalized, or something more).

Please keep us posted on what happens.

Does it really matter if you've seen your roommate or not? Your not his mother and I really hope that you don't think he's going to call and tell you everything he does.

I can understand a bit of concern, but your roommate is your roommate, not your best friend. They need to have their own life.

"Dude must be getting girls left and right. What a stud."

. . . he's gay

Well, here is the easy way to get your roommate to not like you.

"Does it really matter if you've seen your roommate or not? Your not his mother and I really hope that you don't think he's going to call and tell you everything he does. "

I know, I don't really care if he's not here. Though, I am curious as to where he's been and how he's going to classes (as all of his books/binders and **** are here.

Maybe he doesn't need his books.

Perhaps he's doing some sort of study on how a college student can pass for the year on nothing more than a pen.

Post a message on his facebook.

aren't you the guy who stays in his room all day to study?

your roomate is probably just out having fun and stuff after classes, and sleeping over in girls'/guys' rooms.

i second the facebook message thing. even absent kids check their facebook

i doubt he's studying at all though, so he's really not needing his books. but it's his own problem when he fails badly this semester.

It's not abnormal for roommates to leave for a while and show up randomly.

Also, he might just go to class w/out anything for notes. It's not optimal, but it's certainly been done. Or he might not go to class at all.

Hopefully nothing happened to him...

You might want to mention this to the resident advisor. More than likely, he's OK, but you never know.

When I was a freshman, I worried about my roommate for similar reasons. Ends up, she'd temporarily moved in with an upperclassman whom she'd just met. She moved very fast losing her virginity once she got to college.

Lol, does your roommate know mine? My roommate is gone all the time, though not as long as yours. It's soooo funny when we wake up and see our roommate sleeping in his bed, cause he comes in at like 3-4 AM. And he's not a drinker or partier either...

you killed him didn't you.

Thirding the Facebook check thing. See when he was last on it.

You've got the room to yourself! Enjoy it!
