<p>Ok, ok, I know that auburn is always the butt of your jokes, casino, but this visual achieves double literality. A rare and astonishing accomplishment.</p>

<p>My daughter (will be a college junior this fall) had a large group of friends over on Monday night. The kids hadn’t seen each other in a while and they were having so much fun, until…</p>

<p>My DS walked out to join them at the fire-pit and DD’s Auburn friend stiffened up and turned a bit nasty. My DD looked at her friend and said “are you going to be mean to my brother because he chose Bama over Auburn?” Her friend proceeded to make some snide comments about Bama students and my daughter told her to chill or leave. She left! </p>

<p>The rest of DD’s friends gave a warm greeting to my DS and congratulated him on choosing such an awesome school. :)</p>

<p>I’m still stunned that her friend had such a visceral reaction to my son as they have always liked each other. My DS just shrugged it off and chalked it up to jealousy. </p>

<p>Congrats to your daughter for silencing the barner. But I’d have liked the story a lot better if your son had pushed the branch bovinian in the fire and then toasted marshmallows.</p>

<p>Casino, he knew his sister wouldn’t put up with that kind of talk so he was happy to demonstrate how a true Alabama gentleman should behave when confronted with unladylike behavior. After all, she was only showing her true colors and he felt sorry for her orange and blue. </p>
