i heard jesse mccartney's going to ucla. any truth in the rumor?

oh wow, really?? i heard about that too, but iono if its true.

Probably a music performance major...

haha i heard that too... but dunno if its true.

i hope so, then we can have some stars on campus. i went to the star wars premiere in westwood today and all i saw was mark hammil. but then again 99% of other schools don't get to have a movie premiere in their city lol.

All you saw was Mark Hammil? That's Luke Skywalker! Of course, his career is in the toilet right now, not that he needs one anymore.

mark hamill's got a pretty active voice acting career if that counts for anything. can't imagine the joker in the batman cartoons being played by anyone besides him. the new joker in "the batman" just doesn't sound right to me. :)

if this is true, it makes me almost regret turning down UCLA

jesse is so incredibly HOT. all of my girlfriends and i would do anything to have him father our children.

is now incredibly jealous of all UCLA girls, especially the ones who he'll choose to sit next to in class

have fun with him though!

where did u guys hear that jesse mccartney is comin to la?

oh my gosh....who the "heck" is Jesse MacCartney? lol

Just kidding.....I'm just not into the pop thing much. He sounds a little femmy actually.....;-)

oh my gosh I cant believe it Im going to wet my self, I could die happy now:rolleyes:

god why is it that the UCLA forum annoys me the most with having starstruck people , do most of the people here read Star magazine on a daily basis

I could care less. :)

Wowsers! His pretty good actually. I don't care that it's pop, it's still GOOD music=)

Is he realated to Paul Mccartney from the BEATLES?

I don't think there's any relation...

I hate to admit it, but I really am so star struck. Maybe at UCLA I'll be cured of this; I've head you get used to seeing celebrities if you live in an area where they frequent. Either that or my addition will just be fed...:)

I hate to break it to you, but you know that it is pretty rare to see random famous people even in LA. I've been in LA for 20 years and seen very few famous people. I've meet a good deal of celebrities at events, but the only time I can think of seeing somebody just walking around was Sully from Godsmack shopping in a Hot Topic at Universal City Walk.

It's just for bragging rights anyway.

"Jesse McCartney goes to MY university. Yeah that's rite, and WHO goes to YOURS?"

I disagree allena Iv'e been in LA for 21 years and have seen a good share of celebrities especially at Ucla. I have played bball with master p and lil romeo at the wooden center, justin timberlake was there once too, seen john lithgow walk his dog on campus numerous occasions (his wife is a professor there), seen mandy moore and andy roddick at ackerman union, magic johnson, kobe bryant, shaq, derek fisher ( when they played for the lakers), and ofcourse several ucla alumni: baron davis, reggie miller etc. at pauley. Plus all the movie premieres that go down in westwood so far I have seen the premieres for gigli (jlo and affleck), Spiderman (kirsten dunst, tobey mcguire), and spanglish (adam sandler) and then there are the free concerts on campus I saw the black eyed peas before they blew up (no one knew who they were but everyone was asking who the hot chick was ofcourse now we know its fergie. BUt yeah I can go on and on about celebrities on campus during campus events. As far as LA celebrity spotting go to the beverly center and your'e guranteed to run into atleast a B-list celebrity. There Iv'e seen most of the cast of the OC, p diddy, michelle branch, lead singer queens of the stone age, pharell, ice cube and eva longoria. Funny thing is that no one (far as Iv'e seen) gets excited about seeing a celebrity on campus or goes up to them, not because they don't know that its them but I think its that they are used to it. So for those of you going to ucla I think chances are high you'll see your share of celebrities.

most people in LA dont see celebrities. u have to live in the right areas

Does Michelle Kwan go to UCLA still?

I think a lot of it does come down to luck.
