<p>My daugher is applying early response to the university of michigan (and preferred admit into the Ross business school). Unfortunately she only has a 25 on her ACT. She is taking the ACT again in either November or December. Theres no way she can take it in October, so please don't suggest it. Sooo my question is: Should she apply now and just send her scores from the Nov or Dec test OR apply regular decision.</p>

<p>I'm afraid UMICH will reject her b/c of her 25...the rest of her application is stellar.</p>

<p>I'm sorry to say I think your fear is justified. Why is she applying early action? Her chances would definitely be better with a higher ACT. Doesn't UMich guarantee a response in 30 days or something if you apply EA--can she even get new scores to them in their response time frame? Maybe I could be more encouraging if you shared the "stellar" with us....</p>
