I'm hoping for my ec's to pull my weight in the admissions process due to low test scores... but i'm not sure if my ec's are that strong either.

Thanks in advance..

I'd say you have a shot, but you never know. There are far too many variables, and you never know what the admissions officers are thinking. Good choice of major though =)

haha thanks!

anyone else?

you're looking pretty good! but AJKates is right--there are really too many variables to give an accurate decision. G'Luck!

Kitman, I am a student at cornell and to be honest, biomedical engineering, with your SAT scores and the fact that you are still substantially far away from a 4.0 indicates to me that you have little chance RD....BEE is a small major and very competitive....Id have to say your chances are slim but I would defintely still apply if I were you because ivy decisions are unpredicatable

i thought cornell only offers bme as a minor... am i wrong?

what if i apply undeclared and then declare my major later on?

can anyone else rate my chances?

you might want to schedule an interview if you havent done so. I personally (class of 2009 by ED) think the interview with my alumnus really helped. The alumnus said that his letter made Cornell take a "hard look" at me. my stats were above average, but i still contribute by acceptance to strong recs from teacher and my alumnus.

good luck

Thanks gh0st... i'll defintely do that then!

you have a chance.

i go to wwp, who are you dude? haha.

Write kick-ass essays, then you have a better shot
