Those are the generic ECS.
My main passion is music. My schools music program travels around the United States and Internationally every spring and have won nearly every competition.

-I also have recieved nearly flawless scores on all of my judged nyssma performaces, including a 96 on my All State Jazz peice.

-I also will submit a supplemental CD that I had professionally recorded of me playing my all state Jazz peice.

-I also play piano and guitar privately.

-Guitar I have taught Myself, but have achieved relative mastery.
- I compose and write original music.
- I also write music for local musicians.

-I am also very involved with the community. In addition to various service projects with Club Interact,Spanish Honor Society, National Honor Society, and the Tri M music Honor Society, I personally run a toy drive for less fortunate children during the holidays. I do this by going around to local orginizations and people and asking for donations.

Lastly I have played Soccer Since Age 4.

I was a starter on JV Soccer in 8th and 9th Grade

3 Year Starter on Varsity

Academic All County

Played for the Division 1 Sachem Golden Eagles

and I played 3 Age groups up on the Division 2 Manorville Vipers.

-So that is basically it. I hope that my passion for music is reiterated througout my application and really serves as a "hook." My essay really conveys my musical interests and really unifies my application. Im just really worried and hoping that this can make up for my ACT Score.

I'm no admissions officer but it looks to me like you do have a real passion and it clearly shows. You're also first generation but Idk how much that makes up for your scores (which are pretty decent already in my opinion with all the stuff you do). You actually are a lot like one of my best friends who is basically a genius with a trumpet and plays soccer pretty well. Good luck!

Thanks Alot.
Do I need to submit SAT II's along with my ACT?

Yeah I think Harvard requires 3, even if you take the ACT... here is the quote from the site:

"All applicants, however, must also submit the results of three SAT Subject Tests. "
http://www.admissions.college.harvard.edu/utilities/faq/admissions/tests/index.html

take out NSHSS

As I said in the Princeton forum, your test scores are not that good, but your talent for music just might get you in, IF Harvard or Princeton or where ever you're applying needs an alto sax.

And please, don't think your "stellar" stats will offend people. Most of the people in these forums probably have scores well above yours. I do admire your commitment and passion for your music, however :)

haha ceebee I didnt mean it in that context.
I meant it more like my stats not being worthy of the people on these boards that score like 41s on the ACT haha.

^^^^Hehe, or people who whine about 900's on SAT II's ;-)

Haha well in that case...

:)
