I hope study in NYU
Im from egypt
what about NYU?

How about posting a full paragraph with full sentences explaining exactly what you’d like to know? From what you’ve posted, your English does not seem strong enough to support study in the US, but let’s see what you can do.

really my english does not strong but I just learning english

what should I learning the american slang or Classical language ?

If you want to study here, slang won’t help you that much. However, it will help you communicating orally to your peers.

What do you want to know about NYU?

What are your grades and test scores?

What is your major?

It’s expensive and I don’t think they give much/any aid to int’ls, so will your parents pay the $65k+ per year to go there?

You need to know proper English so that you’ll do well on tests and in the classroom.

I think we’ve been trolled.

I agree with mommaj. Reading the other posts by this poster, it seems he/she has a far better command of the language than this thread would indicate.

Thanks my friends/ thumper1 , MommaJ , mom2collegekids …
but…
by what can I start learning english correctly
by grammer or by conversation ?

You need to contact the closest advising center of EducationUSA. There are two in Egypt. https://www.educationusa.info/Egypt</a> The counselors there can help you learn more about colleges and universities in the US. They also can help you find places to study English.

To master English, you need to have practice with reading, writing, listening, and speaking. Most people do not learn English well just by studying and memorizing books. Most people need to practice the language in realistic situations. That is why conversation is important. There are many websites and YouTube videos that can help you practice your English. Ask at the EducationUSA office which ones they recommend.

thank you for help me happymomof1
really I will do
but…
the problem in any center in egypt that they learning english by wrong technique
are you understand me ?

I am sorry, but I do not know anyone teaching English in Egypt right now. If you look here, you might be able to find someone who can recommend a good English course for you. You also will be able to find some online activities. Good luck!
