We might have midterms soon.

Good news: Midterms only cover from September to January. Finals only cover from January to June. The average of the two grades is our 'final' grade.
Bad news: I can't really think of any tbh.

I thought that midterms were associated with quarter tests.

^Midterms usually were the grade halfway throughout the year which cover the material learned so far. Usually, midterms are around 25% and finals are 75% of the final grade.

That’s odd.

This is what I’ve acknowledged that some classes do:

First quarter- Midterm
Second quarter- First semester final

Third quarter- Midterm
Fourth quarter- Second semester final
