anyone know about American undergrads living there? I know there are some, and it seems like it'd be kind of cool to live in i-house, with the whole intermeshing of cultures and all that.

You need to have at least junior standing if you're an American to live at the I-House. Rooms are smaller compared to the high rise dorms (like Davidson, Deutch, Ehrman, etc.). You have a different meal plan that cannot be used at the GBC or any of the dining halls and the I-House Cafeteria is not as spectacular (but that's a matter of taste). However, it's really fun.
