On the sheet it asked me about my current employer phone, address, company, supervisor. Will they she call my current boss? Without letting me know as I did not tell him (current boss). I simply want another part-time job for the summer. I did not give them permission to at least I do not think I did. I am in college and just finished Freshman year.

Laws Applicable to Massachusetts or USA in General:
Also what can and he my current boss say about me?
Also what can and can't the prospective manger say about me?

I have only been working at my current job for 2 months. Should I inform my current boss that they might call? I rather not

THanks

My parents said there must be specific box that says can we call the employer.

If they call, it's usually to get some sort of direct reference from your current employer. If it's just another summer job (presumably to get more hours = more pay), then why not tell your current boss? Have you done something bad and/or are you on the 'bad side' of your boss?

I think he has neutral feeling about me, I work checking in guest part-time at a Court Yard by Marriott. Most employees there are full-time, and they show it. They pretty much think I am just some college student here to fill some holes in their schedule. Management shows it too. Which is why I do not want him thinking I am going to quite or anything or un-loyal. The full-time people are very loyal to the brand. I get $11 hr and only been working there for 3 months so I really can't complain. Whats AF pay like?

I hope I get the job at AF or some retail clothing store, so I can work among peers. Do they usually call? And what are the rules/laws in regards to what they can ask?

Generally isn't it considered unethical to call a present a employee?

its A&F don't even trip lol
they probably won't call
and as long as you mesh/look like the type of worker at A&F you'll prob get the job

I seriously doubt that they will call. Also, I believe the pay is minimum wage.
