<p>Yes, AP classes are. I think those play an important role in the admissions process. But the score report seems to be of little consequence, from what I've heard. It's more to see if you're challenging yourself in your actual coursework than what you made on the actual exam, I hear.</p>

<p>AP class grades or exam grades? Class, yes. Exams, yes, but to a significantly lesser extent. I don't know. I guess it's moot trying to figure out where it stands in the scheme of things because we'll pretty much never know. It's fun speculating, though :D And gianievve, A?buen trabajo! <p>And I've heard that although IB is more rigorous academically, it's ultimately not that big of a difference in admissions.</p>

<p>alixpaul - did you apply ED? If about 2 weeks have passed since you sent your application, and you haven't received any confirmation then sure, call and ask. You have nothing to loose.</p>

I have received confirmation that they have received my app. wat i m unsure is whether my teacher(s) n/or counsellor has sent my school report etc. Should I call to ask whether my file, including teacher evaluation n school report, is complete and do they reply on telephone regarding pending documents?</p>
<p>No, they'll send you a confirmation when everything's complete. Nobody has gotten that yet.</p>
