Congratulations!

(first time I came out she refused to speak to me and told me I was on my own–after one attempted heterosexual relationship, I came out again because she saw me kiss dearest girlfriend. Oops. She’s betterish now.)

I look down upon homosexuality. However, you’re free to do whatever you want, and I admire your courage nonetheless.

^I look down on you.

Forgive me for being ignorant. I come from an extremely homophobic country. Homosexuality is a crime. You get 14 years in jail if caught. Do you really have to come out if you are bi?

What do you mean? Are you asking if they should just only date people of the opposite sex and pretend to be straight? I think if you live in a country like the one you live in you shouldn’t, but if you live in the US it would be good to come out. It really shouldn’t be that big of a deal here that you need to hide it your whole life. Also, you can’t just turn off that same sex attractions. Even if you’re bi, you can’t control who you fall in love with :)

Congratulations!! It takes a lot of courage to do that!

:)

Aww!! This is a sweet and awesome piece of news–Congrats!!
Who people love is their choice–and it’s great to see that some are accepting that!

And @Monyistbitu , it’s really not your buisness to be telling anyone this – let the OP celebrate his success is showing who he is. Look down–and all you’ll see is dirt, to be honest.

Congrats! :)

I’m glad she took it well.

Hey guys a thread about gay stuff lasted 21 posts without a negative comment. Must be a record or something.

Awesome job. What an appreciative and understanding mom you have. Congrats. I’m really happy for you.

Congrats! It’s great to have accepting parents and friends!

So brave. I still haven’t told my parents, but I have told my friends. Once you tell somebody it feels like this weight of nervousness came flying off and it felt good.
