I just forgot...

to add the engineering supplement essay! I uploaded the extra one, but not the engineering one. I e-mailed them asking what do, but they probably won't get back until after the deadline. I plan on just printing out the supplement, with my engineering essay, and attaching a letter explaining why I'm mailing it to them even though I have already submitted online. Am I screwed?

Just email it to them with an apology… Or post - post is probably better. Don’t get too complicated, just say Hey, sorry I c**ked up, but it’s here now, and all will be fine.

Edit: Just send them the essay you forgot, not the whole supp again…

Yeah, but if I just e-mail it to them or only mail my missing essay, they won’t be able to verify my identity. I don’t think just telling them my name proves I am who I say I am. That’s why I think I should resend the whole supplement.

I know for Yale, you just send things with your name, DOB and school name and they seem OK with it. Up to you. If you are unsure just email someone in admissions and when they get back see what they say…

Oops, just saw that this was on the Yale board…

I will attach it in an e-mail and mail it out as well just so it gets there by the deadline. I don’t think they will be too unreasonable about it.
