<p>I think you have a good chance for Oxford at Emory U, Illinois and Wisconsin are slight reaches/high matches, USC is a slight reach, GT is a reach but attainable if your recs are really that good.</p>

<p>yeah i mean i think it gives you a little bit of an edge, but it really depends on the kind of school you apply to, if it’s public it might not help as much unless it’s called wisconsin. privates it’ll help you a little bit.</p>

<p>i would say that u were out for emory, but since you’re hispanic, ive heard that helps, esp at somewhere like emory lol. u’re scores are pretty decent for emory at oxford, and use the fact that u’re hispanic to ur advantage. i dont think u have as good of a chance at oxford, since u’re out of state and race doesnt seem to matter too much in their admissions process. they focus more on gender. there r some guys who got into emory but not ga tech…so yeah. i think uve got an okay chance at wake though. i dont know anything abt the other schools u mentioned.
just remember for emory at oxford, talk abt y u want to go there. emphasize it like crazy, b/c emory seems to really want ppl that want to be there. also for emory, on the app they ask if uve had contact with ppl who go there and stuff, and i never wrote that down, but im sure it helps, so try finding some ppl lol.</p>

<p>oh yeah i visited and that whole deal, and their decision is supposed to come in like 2 weeks, so i’m hoping. it’s a total separate entity from the actual emory, too.</p>

<p>You will definitely get into Wisconsin - Wake Forest might be a bit of a reach because your GPA is a bit low (I wouldnt send your scores to WF since their a score optional school) but since you’re Hispanic that will definitely give you a boost. Georgia Tech should be a pretty safe bet as well… and Emory might also be a reach. good luck!</p>
