hey guys, i just got a likely letter in the mail and I am wondering if it is some kind of mistake. i mean i applied to harvard more as a joke, completely not expecting to get in, and I just got a letter about my likely addmitance. I have ok stats, nothing great, and I have already goten in a few places, but this is just insane. Before I was torn between Southern Maine, Plymouth State, and SUNY Canton, but this changes everything. Is this really possible? I will post a few of my stats:

ACT: 23 Composite
SAT 2's: Literature 510 Biology 670 Math I 570

Are u serious?! nw31, u just gave me hope...lol. That's amazing to get a likely letter. Are u sure u don't have some type of hook, like being a legacy? I hope they didn't make a mistake.

Aren't likely letters all sent out already at this point? By now they should have finished reading all the apps at least once, and they should have sent a letter earlier.

my friend from my current IB School in Shanghai, China got a likely email today, basically it said that "I wish to share this good news with you in advance, .. and ended with "looking forward to meeting you".
