I just got accepted to my dream school, but I'm worried that my acceptance could be rescinded?

So, I applied to UC Davis for my Transfer Admission Guarantee and they required me to take an English Composition course to fulfill the major prerequisite requirement. However, upon taking the course, I found that the class was uninspiring and boring due to its lack of rigor. So, I decided to drop the class in early April with a W.

I recently found out that I got accepted to my dream school (UCLA!) and I’m worried that my acceptance may be rescinded in the face of this information. I also got accepted to UC Berkeley and am possibly considering going there too, so I was wondering if anyone knows about whether UCLA and UCB would care if I dropped an English course that I do not need to fulfill my GED or any major requirements for UCLA and UCB?

We can’t answer that question – only the schools can. I suggest you call them, stat, and look for an English Composition class over the summer.

(What on earth were you thinking withdrawing from a required class mere months before your transfer?)

It is required for UC Davis, but not UCLA or UC Berkeley, and I decided that I neither wanted to go to UC Davis anymore nor take this class that did not challenge my intellectually.

So you could have still aced the class since it was below your intellectual rigor? But you decided it wasn’t worth staying in even though it was a required class? Strange. You’ll just have to contact your schools and hope for the best.
