Hey, actually, contrary to what ayaaang has said, UCI didn’t send me an email right away. I remember checking one evening and I was in, but I didn’t get the email until the next morning at ~3:00am. Fun fact!

Have any transfer students heard from UCI yet?

DO you guys think another round will come out?

i hope so T.T im so stressed im gonna lose my hair

I wish someone would call and ask them if all the acceptances are over with. They did that yesterday, but they sent out more acceptances that night. So I am wondering if now is officially the end?

I’m so mad at myself for applying to the bio major. I feel dumb since it’s such an impacted major -_-. I could have easily gotten into most of the UCs if I had applied undeclared :/

@ tia I did the same as you. I am stupid and applied bio

I am mad that i took so many hard classes so my gpa is .3 lower than it would have nbeen without the cap and like 1.0 lower than if i didnt take so many hard classes

Same. I wish I would have taken all regular and just 2 weighted classes like the people who already got in (that i know) I tried to take one of the hardest course loads and this is what I get.

@gorehpakoreh and @tiahope

Not necessarily. Undeclared isn’t significantly easier; a lot of people think that way and apply undeclared as well. The UC’s are very random. I got into UCSB for bio but didn’t get into UCD undeclared. The acceptance rates for both UCSB and UCD are both in the 40%'s. Just saying.

I’m pretty sure that they haven’t send out all the acceptances yet! There’s so many people who haven’t gotten in! I hope not at least!

I applied to UCI undeclared. That is the only school I applied as undeclared. Now i don’t even want to do bio. (for my other schools)

Yeah, but we could all be rejections. (sorry for the pessimism) All I can say is UFF.

I am a transfer student who applied to UCSB for the econ and accounting with a gpa of 3.4. So I did tag but last semester I failed my business calculus class bringing my gpa down to a 3.1 but I’m retaking it this semester and will have my F replaced before I transfer. Does anyone know if I’ll still have a chance to get in through tag still or even without? Any advice would help please!! I hate this waiting process

we are all first year applicants, not transfers. Sorry

@yomaxe, I got an email at 3:15am that my admission status has changed and to check my portal.

A lot of my friends have not gotten their decision yet. My UC GPA is a 3.9

got nothing today. so hard waiting…

nothing for me either

Okay I just got off the phone with UCI’s admissions office. The man I spoke with said that they are not done with sending out acceptances for first-year applicants. However, he wouldn’t tell me when the next wave would be. He just said that all decisions will be out by the end of the month.

Just got notification that I got in today. I think UCI is just slow… when it comes to sending admissions.
