I thought I lost hope but I got accepted! I just checked today (earlier today) and got in as a chemistry major, but your major doesn’t really matter since admissions knows that everyone is likely to chang their major in college.</p>

<p>I have to conclude that a LOT of you will get in. Only a handful of acceptances have been posted on the UCI thread compared to other UCs. UCI is slow as molasses, dribbling out decisions like some water torture experiment. Please hang in there! </p>
<p>High stat son still has no decision: 2300/4.3W/4.1UC/Eagle Scout. He’s accepted at his two other UCs (SD & SB with Honors). Maybe DS <em>will</em> be rejected from Irvine for Studio Art…but if he has no decision from UCI, there is hope yet for all of you still waiting, I think. </p>

<p>First off, I did get accepted last night.</p>
<p>However, more people at my school have been accepted to UCSD than UCI. That goes for the other UC’s as well. I am sure UCI is not done yet and I have to say, this is a huge failure if they are doing this slow releasing on purpose (but I just think they got overwhelmed with applicants).</p>

<p>I have a 3.7 UW GPA and a 3.9 UC GPA. 1900 SAT. ELC/ top 5% of class. No ECs lol. If I don’t get in UCI, I’m going to community college. I got into UCSB, though.</p>
