<p>Definitely keep your chip up Ricky and DVSR. Everything happens for a reason - it may not be a reason we understand, ut there is a plan for each of us. There’s going to be something out there for you.</p>
<p>got waitlisted yesterday…funny thing is that the zotportal now says that my app is inactive and myuci website has the waitlist info…so if any of you are only checking zotportal, then check the other site too.</p>
<p>alright, i’m depressed/bummed whatever, but i know i can still do this…going to ucr, and i’ll try and transfer to USC after a year. No more bad grades/slacking, 4.0 here i come…</p>

<p>It makes me mad but I feel like a failure. But I shouldnt people with worse stats got in I still did better then them. But then I become the one who failed just cause uc’s didn’t like me??</p>

<p>I’m so surprised because some people at my school got in with below a 4.0 gpa and EVEN BELOW A 1500 SAT!!!</p>
<p>I got waitlisted- 3.7 gpa, 1820 SAT, 2 AP’s this year (2 AP’s from soph and junior together)… Accepted to Cal Poly Slo and P, Uc: M, R, SC, and waitlisted at UC: D, SB, I.</p>
<p>to all think it is unfair, I agree- you all had amazing scores and deserve to get into a wonderful school.</p>
<p>HOWEVER, i think it is totally uncalled for to say that people (like me) with low test scores shouldn’t get in… I may not have excelled in certain parts of academics, which held me back. But I worked part-time for 5 years (since 8th grade)… So I didn’t always have time to study or do homework in order to gain that 2400… I have also played soccer (for 13 years) and volleyball (2 years)… Not to mention I have over 180 community service hours and have been part of 6 clubs my entire high schol career.</p>
<p>So to say that people with the same scores as me, do not deserve to get in to UC schools, then f*** you guys. I have worked my a** off, maybe not in the same way as you guys academically, but in a different way.</p>
<p>So eff off people who don’t have amazing scores, they obviously were admitted for a reason. </p>
<p>And it is not the end of the world… calm down and breathe, an amazing chance can pop up any day. You jsut have to wait for that day to come.</p>

I really think we worked harder my father wouldn’t even let me study if he sawe studying he wld scream and yell and hit me and he wouldn’t even let me Attend school. We all had hardships and no one said u should be rejected but we should have been admitted f you were accepted</p>

<p>Just got rejected…which is really unfair seeing that people with lower stats got in. Don’t get me wrong, I congratulate them, but it’s just really depressing. I heard that UCs also rejected people they believed wouldn’t go there, but maybe that’s just wishful thinking. Can’t wait until April 1st…</p>
