i just got a super cool paid internship at 15/hour in a beverly hills company called Resolution economics....

yaya to monstertrak.

has anyone worked there before, i kwo they hire a lot of interns.

welcome to the world of paid internships.

tis rare yo.

Malishka31, are you a junior?

She's a transfer, so yeah.

this will be my highest paying job ... which is also awsome. ( i think highest paying... i dont know since i was salary before)

in order to quit my job i am making dark chocolat fudge for them... i feel bad quitting after 2 weeks. ... but this intership was something i applied for way before.

By the way they are hiring more people.... they have 3 open positions and want 10-15 hours. I am doing 20 hours.

they have long term internships that last beyond one quarter or one summer or what not... and they often times offer full time positions upon graduation

Sounds like my job. Cept for the hiring more interns part.

what kind of requirements do they have? past experience, majors, etc.?

congrats, btw!
(i thought you were working at the equinox building though..?)

i am working in a law firm in the helio/equinox building... but that job is not major related, and its not something i really was aiming for. I had to take that job in order to make money, i didnt have the luxury to wait it out... (no p arental help)..... This internship was one of the first places i applied to , but it took them over 3 weeks to invite me for an interview, in the meantime i took this job.

Here is the thing the internship posted on monstertrak. I think that is is by far the IDEAL internship for an econ major, and an even more ideal one for an econ major wanting to go to law school. (i dont want to go to law school but i know many people do). This office is in Beverly hills ,so as far as i concenred it cant be a poor office, but the atmosphee is very relaxed.

check out their webiste www.resolutioneconomics.com

I think econ majors should apply.

the person who interviewed me made it pretty clear that its a lot of data entry... but hey , its better than getting lunch and cofee.. ( he said their interns definaltey NEVER do that). Its seems like one of those jobs thats going to be what you make out of it, meaning if you put forth the effort you can help out on tons of projects.....

I know there is a lot of biz econ people on here, i would apply if you have past experience. The interview was really easy, but my resume is very good.. so thats maybe why.

it sounds really cool, but i'm a geography major/poli sci minor, and i'm pretty sure i don't want to go into law- do you think it would still apply to me?

i dont know ..... why do you want this internship if your those majors? is that a field of work your intrested in ?

i personally thought iwas an awsome internship because it seems to correlate very well with my planned education.

aside from some of the travel that the interns may get to do, i dont see how being a geo major and having htis internship would help you....... but if its something your intrested in then by all means apply.

on a completly off topic, i have to wake up at 430 and i can not sleep at all, i chewed a pack of gum today , its like tweek gum or something becaue i am flipping out.
i dunno, i might just be nervous or something.

blah!
