I just got back from

Well, today my father and I went to the EEE conference in Houston, Texas. There were 5 of the ivy leagues (Chicago, Cornell, Rice, Columbia, and Brown).
They explained the college process to us and answered alot of "questions."

i recommend you signing up :]

Exploring Educational Excellence-Information Sessions

Rice and Chicago aren’t ivy although they are amazing schools

Haha, Rice and Chicago def aren’t technically “Ivy League” but they might as well be ;)

That’s interesting though, Harvard/Princeton/Penn/Georgetown/Duke have a similar conference thing and mailed me invitations a couple times to attend their sessions last fall.

I didn’t go (shrug), and I did just fine in my college admission/application process, but I guess if you have time and think it’ll be helpful for you, then by all means sign up!

oh well lol
Rice is #2 in the south.

thats pretty awesome.

2? Behind whom?

true that nyskins1

I would say that Rice is number one in the hood, G.

Rice > Duke

lol. i talked to the senior admission person face to face for a good 15 minutes before the convention.

she really cleared many things up for me.

but i still have a question.
how good are the biology programs at Rice? how do tey compare to Duke, Brown, etc.
