<p>I know that Cornell wants interviews only for architecture and hotel students and that everyone else can meet informally with an alumni. I was just contacted for such a meeting and I was wondering how do these work? I'm a little bit confused about the importance of these meetings. Do the ambassadors report back to Cornell? Can it give me any slight tip as a subpar-score applicant? Can it ruin me? How's the dress? Should I wear gray dresspants/slacks or are dark wash jeans and a sweater on top ok?</p>
