I have a quick question. Transfers are (understandably) underrepresented on CC, so I am hoping that someone might be able to give me some insight. I've read a lot about the interesting, not to mention controversial, system for admittance to UT, but not much about how they admit transfers. I understand for freshman it is all about class rank, not gpa. This, obviously, can't be possible for junior transfers, as they don't take our hs record into consideration. Any ideas on the process? Is it possible there is a little more "human" involvement in the decisions for transfers? I know I am already at a steep disadvantage, especially being oos.

Accepted
Got the admission decision today

apparently
all decisions are being sent out tonite at 12 midnight

^what makes you say that??

Do you mean all freshman decisions are being sent tonight? Will it be on the "check status" page?

Can somebody please clarify this.

omg I hope this is true, I want to find out already :/. if it is, good luck everyone! (especially us OOSers)

I called the admissions office about 10 mins ago and the lady said that they had few thousands left!!! She also said that another batch of notifications are going out tonight. The rest of the applicants will know for sure by next week. Hope this helps! Good luck to all!

Good luck all of you! Hope to see some of you next year!
