I just have some questions about the AP Physics 1 exam

I just took the ap physics 1 exam this past Tuesday, May 8th. I guess you can say I kind of have the fear that I filled out my scantron wrong (but it could just be me having post-test anxiety). So in the event that I did fill out my scantron wrong and it gets rescored, would my actual answer booklet be rescored or just the scantron?

I also have a question about how the points system works on the free response. So let’s say I had the correct set up for questions but my final answer is wrong, or if I selected the wrong choice but my explanation was consistent with what I chose. Would I still get some sort of partial credit for staying consistent?

I’m just kind of worried because I studied really hard for this test and I care a lot about physics so I’m just really worried that I didn’t do well.

I’m not sure about your first question but regarding your second question my teacher told me that you will get correct on error points

Hope this helps

I was told that you do get some partial credit as you continue through.

There are scoring guides and they award points based on having certain elements of the question correct (including correct equation, correct set-up, etc). The right answer is usually only worth a portion of each FRQ, meaning you could still do very well on the exam if didn’t have any correct answers but had everything set up and solved correctly. Good luck when scores come out in a few days!

Hey guys! I wound up getting a 3 on the exam! I was hoping to get a 4 but I’m very content with my score and the fact that I passed.
