I start training for my job tomorrow, so I moved in this weekend. I'm getting really excited!!!!!!!!

and are there any dc++ hubs?

Last Result:
Download Speed: 6264 kbps (783 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed: 6797 kbps (849.6 KB/sec transfer rate)

no clue what dc++ means lol

Not related at all, but my speed results for at home:

Last Result:
Download Speed: 16668 kbps (2083.5 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed: 356 kbps (44.5 KB/sec transfer rate)

Guess who has Comcast...

I also get 2MB with comcast but can't download over ~800kbit (except for the first few seconds of the download). Damn caps.

what dorm did you move into?

South Quad

wow that speed sucks...:(

i dont know what any of this computer jibberish means.

Dude you took that speedtest at home with comcast? That is extremely fast speed, I know that most people with comcast get about 800KB/s, but not 2000!

Yeah the UM speed is pretty slow I guess...somewhat disappointing, considering that my home connection is faster. :(

Comcast has "powerboost" to give you that kind of speed for about 30 seconds. Then it drops down to the capped speed of your plan.
