Okay. Hi everyone. I'd just like to say "thank you" upfront for all those giving help to me and others.
I'm looking for a college that will allow me to explore a multitude of seemingly unrelated things. With passions in ancient history, the German language, music composition and history, creative and play-writing, and mythology, I don't want to sacrifice intense studies in the latter subjects while trying to complete a major in marketing or something of the like
I have a few choices already, namely the University of Rochester and Sarah Lawrence College. I'm a pretty bright student (but I am not Brown material) and any college suggestions where I can pursue all of my interests and potentially be admitted would be most helpful.

Thank you so much everybody!!!

I am not sure these have evrything that you want but maybe they do.
Check them out.

U of Pennsylvania

U Chicago
U Minnesota Minneapolis
U Michigan Ann Arbor
Oberlin
U of Miami

CUNY
Boston U

Indiana University might be worth a look. They have a strong mythology studies program at the graduate level, which translates into related classes at the undergraduate level through their classics department. They also have a very strong music school and a strong germanic studies program. One undergraduate major that may be of interest to you there is a program in folklore and ethnomusicology.

If you'd prefer smaller schools, I'd also suggest you check out: Beloit, Carleton, Kenyon and Middlebury. And, if you want someplace a little different, perhaps Hampshire or the Johnston Center at the University of Redlands in California. Both specialize in letting students create their own interdisciplinary majors.

wow i am looking at almost all those fields except marketing! and i'm looking at the university of rochester too! do you know how their humanities are though? i only know that they have good sciences

Oberlin has all the stuff you listed as "passions", I'm pretty certain, but I don't think it has anything in the way of marketing. Of the other schools mentioned above, I doubt that you'll find much in the way of marketing at :Bennington, Beloit, Carleton, Kenyon, Middlebury or Hampshire either. But I could be wrong.

U of R's humanities are often oveshadowed by their science programs but, in my opinion, are equally awesome. The majority of the students, I'm pretty sure, major in English or something of the like.

The U of Rochester is very strong in humanities. They have an excellent English Dept and music school. The U of R's Memorial Art Gallery has a collection of ancient art.
