Yep, what the title said. I decided to wait till break, since im year round and its a three week break before the SAT date, to study for it. I didnt do any prep watsoever until vacation started and now realized that 3 weeks isnt enough to study. Well, i did see some improvement from 3 practice exams during these breaks. I had a 1490 from a March Practice SAT, took 3 this break as u know, 1570, 1600, 1630 (WOAH!! i go up by 30s!!!). So i dont see my goal of 1800-2000 being reachable this Saturday :(.

so i got a big question. should i still send my scores to colleges and still take it again in december? or would it be better to send that score to my safety school since im in range for it (SDSU)? * note i am a junior so that one policy where u get to pick the score implies for me.

dude your scores jump 30 points per test lol you should take like 6 more before the test and you’ll be at 1810!

And also if you decide to keep the score, you have show your college ALL your sat scores that you’ve ever taken so you can’t really hide the “bad” ones from them

well, remember, like i noted above, im a junior, so that new policy to choose which score i want implies. i just dont want to waste 45 bucks for “practice.”

But if i wre you, i wouldnt send it to safeties even. You wanna be overqualified for safeties, so they hit you with mad scholarshiop money. Its all up to you, but I wouldnt send it at all.

k cool. good that youre considering it. for me, i have similar situation. but im class of 09. Like im taking sats again since incase i go to rutgers since i live in NJ, i want a near full ride. So for their scholarships, as long as im top 5 percent of my class and I get a 1500 math and reading, Ill get it. But this is through superscore. Since you guys dont have superscoring, I think it’s best to just send in one awesome score than 2 okay ones, and then a good score. just what i feel.
