I just realized CC is a community

So anyone who read "How to be a high school superstar" knows that we should join a community, online or offline, as the first step to have an impressive EC. Then I realize CC is such a community too. Why don't we get together and do something besides casual trolling in this forum?

You mean large scale ■■■■■■■■ like 4chan?

We’re already planning a revolution on the “last to post” forum.

But like what? Some people meet up, but others don’t want to with anonymous internet people. Never know who is a 40 year old rapist, you know?

I mean, doing something useful rather than ■■■■■■■■. I think we should carry out an internet based project?

Like filing a petition? Anyway, why would you want a CC EC? You’d have to prove you were involved, give out your username, etc. That could end poorly for some.

I think there used to be a blog or something.

Because I read the book. If you have no idea why, read the book.
But seriously though, do you guys want to enjoy the fun of doing something useful, like publishing past experience on college admission (this is just a probable example) to boost your chance for college?

Again, are you sure that this username of yours has no comments you wouldn’t want every admissions officer seeing?

Also, there was a blog just like that, you might be able to dig it up in past threads.

I post on CC when I’m trying to avoid being productive.

There was at least [one attempt](http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/high-school-life/932711-you-guys-wanna-start-blog.html) to do something productive on CC, but it turned out to be an epic fail (as I predicted).

Using CC as a base, then we’ll exchange AIMs. You can choose not to list CC as your project. Instead, list that you carry out some project that has some impact on some online community.
That was just one example. I bet that thread’s filled up with ■■■■■■. And even though one such thread may exist, we can always start a new project. And again, I’m not forcing anyone to join; so if you have any conflict, BillyMC, you don’t have to.

oh and by limiting to a few people, we may be able to get their AIM and work from there. CC is just a place to start

I’d get involved in whatever emerges from this.

I just wanted to add that I find the premise of this book hilarious.

I believe people tried this when they wanted to make the blog…sort of died quickly

^Because that would require actually updating the blog.
