After a year of Gen eds (or if you find out what you want to do and actually have courses) your GPA should be fairly high. I think you can apply for Engineering whenever. Business is either: you're in as a freshman or you can apply for it your junior year. If you find out you want to do business your advisor will make sure that you are on track with the major you've decided on. You can follow a track even if you're not in that particular college but you will have to be in it in order to get a degree from it if your major is in it.</p>
